Heinz and Gold Coast were wonderful.  He was informative during the estimate process, more than others.  Heinz was always professional, helpful, and thorough.  The workers he used were professional, very good, and did a wonderful job.  A crack was discovered in the process and repaired.  The mini-pebble pool surface we selected with advice looks great.  At the end of the project, there were some areas that needed cleaning, and Heinz/Gold Coast continued to attend to those areas.  I had gotten 4 estimates for this work.  Gold Coast was in the middle, but I’m satisfied the work was exceptional and a good value.  I would definitely recommend Heinz to anyone.  From beginning to end they were great.

Heinz did a wonderful job on our pool:  new plaster, new coping, new tile, new seat in deep end, new heater, new plumbing, new light, and new autofill feature. Included is a photo of the new seat to show the detail (don’t mind the leaves and debris). He said he could finish in 4 weeks and I questioned that. He assured me. Well he was wrong… he finished in just over 2 weeks!! All along the way he and his workers were on time, pleasant, clean, and simply a pleasure to have at our house. Their workmanship was superb.  Heinz was responsive to our various emails, texts, & phone calls. He always replied quickly and was happy to make any modifications and explain things during the process. At one point we forgot to unlock our gate and his workers could not get access. Heinz called and said he’d be happy to stop at my office and pick up the key. He was pleasant and friendly and not at all irritated. Just a great guy. His pricing was competitive and I do believe he saved us money with all of his helpful suggestions. My wife and I are rarely so pleased and we recommend him highly… and we have already referred him to our friends.

OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE – START TO FINISH!!  Commenced exactly the day promised, with activity virtually every day.  Heinz was ALWAYS on it – took the time to keep us informed every step of the way, explaining what to expect before each phase, and the very few minor issues were dealt with immediately.  All the trades were so professional too (the tile/stone guy was phenomenal!).  Never any up-sell / add-ons – he even talked us out of doing some things that sounded good, but after discussing we realized we’d rarely use them.  And, he came up with several practical inexpensive solutions to a few unique issues.  The pool was in a state of rapid decline, and now literally looks better than when it was built 17 years ago!  BTW, decided to go with PebbleSheen (versus white plaster) at the last minute – sure its more expensive, but so glad we did…it’s stunning!  BTW, they have a division that does weekly maintenance – needless to say, we signed up for that as well.

After meeting with several companies to get quotes on fully redoing our pool, we chose Gold Coast and were not disappointed with the outcome. Heinz and his team did amazing work, gave us a fair price, and we’ve hired them to service the pool as well. Highly professional, went above and beyond the scope of work, and couldn’t recommend them more highly. If you’re looking for great professionals to handle your pool needs, look no further.

I had the best experience with Heniz and his crew. When we bought our house the pool wasn’t in tip top condition as we would’ve liked – the tiles were dated, some were missing and the bottom of the pool was stained… we finally decided to replaster & tile our pool for a more updated look. Well finding a reputable company was very difficult… either their quote was ridiculously high or they would come out for an estimate and you’d never hear from the again!! Then we met Heniz and not only are his prices competitive and fair for the work that he did, he’s very nice and we had a very good experience with him. His crew was also very nice… the gentlemen who laid the tile worked all day to ensure that our tile was just perfect. Heniz is easy to reach and the work was efficient and on schedule just as he promised. We are very pleased with the outcome of our pool!!!

Searching for a contractor to resurface my swimming pool was quite the challenge. Heinz was the only one who gave direct answers and reasonable assurances. He was straight to the point and wasn’t pushy whatsoever. The work was clean, efficient and well planned. Heinz was always available to get a hold of and provided updates throughout the entire process. I had difficulty selecting the color of pebble I wanted and Heinz solved my troubles by taking me to see a pool he had completed which helped me make the right choice. I am very happy with the way the pool turned out. The color and the tile look wonderful and is exactly what I had in mind. We also had a crack down the center of the pool and it was leaking pretty heavily. Other contractors seemed perplexed by the crack, Heinz had no issue and explained right away how it would be repaired. His confidence and straight to the point approach helped me make the decision to hire Gold Coast Pool and Spa to repair my pool. If you’re in need of a pool repair I highly advice you do the same.

This review is overdue but Heinz is amazing.  We had an old pool with a slow leak, ugly tile (where it hadn’t fallen off), peeling plaster and old school coping and brick surround.  It was finally time to bite the bullet on a major remodel.  Heinz and his crew removed the plaster, tile and coping (I went with another company to do the pavers for the decking but Gold Coast can do that too!).  My rectangular, dark gray concrete coping is spectacular and so modern.  The tile I chose from the tile place Heinz recommended is a green/earth tone brick pattern showstopper.  The old plaster will not be missed and we love the new Pebble Tec dark bottomed pool.  It looks like a million bucks, yet did not cost that.  Gold Coast’s quote was reasonable and in the middle of others but it was Heinz who sold me.  He’s a pleasure to deal with – prompt, courteous, and a good sense of humor.  His crew was excellent, clean and they finished on time, even with a few unexpected bumps in the road (as all projects have).  Highly, highly recommend.
